New website for Design Academy Eindhoven

Today the new website 40fingers built for Design Academy Eindhoven was launched.
Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE) is one of the leading Design schools in the world and one of our long term customers.
 
We already created the previous website in DotNetNuke (a CMS).

With the growth of the amount of content and the shift from static to more dynamic content, the old website did not fit the needs of the Design Academy Eindhoven any more.
Because DotNetNuke is a very flexible CMS, we were able to rearrange the existing website to the new layout and design.
 
Changes:
The content the DAE publishes has become much more dynamic lately.
The new website shows much better how active the Design Academy Eindhoven and it's teachers, students and alumni are in the world of Design.

The site is also redesigned to get a better balance between visuals and texts.
Because content published by the Design Academy Eindhoven community now has a more a prominent place on the website, the previous website and the Intranet have been merged together (used to be two separate websites).

40Fingers re-created the complete website: transformation, skinning, module templates & custom modules and the merging of the two existing DotNetNuke Portals.
 
We are really happy with the result and I would like to thank the PR team of the Design Academy Eindhoven for this great cooperation.

We believe this website is another good example of the flexibility and scalability of DotNetNuke as a Content Management System.
